Sandalwood Lodge, Nadi is one of the few highly affordable, budget hotels in Fiji Islands, right in between the Nadi International Airport and the Nadi Town. Set in a residential area, the hotel is located merely 5 km from the Airport and 3 km from the Nadi town. It is located merely 300 yards off the Queen's Road and offers to its guests a great blend of clean modern amenities that any traveler might need, but at extremely affordable prices. The Sandalwood Lodge, Nadi is, in fact, rather popular among its tourists for its very warm, friendly staff, who will do anything to make you feel comfortable. The hotel, styled in a lodge style, offers many choices to its guests where the type of room is concerned.
A family establishment, the Lodge is owned and managed by John and Anna Birch. The hotel comprises of three two-leveled independent buildings, each facing the landscaped gardens. While the rooms are spacious, the staff does its best to keep the place clean. The warmth of the staff is well known among its guests.
Boasting of 33 rooms in all, guests get to choose the rooms, depending on their budget and number of people traveling. They thus get to choose from the Garden Wing, with either single,double, triple or quad occupancy or the Orchid Wing, similarly with either single, double, triple or quad occupancy. or a patio overlooking either the swimming pool or the garden, ISD phone and television. The Orchid Wing rooms come with additional amenities of a queen sized bed, iron and ironing
board, mini oven or grill and alarm clock/radio. Besides these room facilities at Sandalwood Lodge, Nadi, the Lodge also offers other hotel facilities of laundry service, pick and drop facilities for the tours, outdoor pool, babysitting services, free parking, children's pool and a tour desk.
